Veteran's Day - ALL HANDS ON DECK!

Horace Orr Wants YOU! This Veteran's Day our post has the privilege of running to big events in Marietta. First is the 5k Run. This event runs from 07:30 - 10:00. Following the run is the Veteran's Day Parade. This year we are the lead organization for planning and conducting the parade. This runs from 10:00 - 12:00 (parade starts at 11:00). We need almost 50 volunteers this day to run these events. Needless to say, the spotlight is on us. Not only do we need volunteers to execute these events, but we need as many members of the Post 29 family as possible to to participate in the parade, either by riding in our float(s) or marching the 1-mile parade route. Since we are the LARGEST Amercian Legion Post in Georgia, we need to get out there and show our colors to Marietta on this important day.
