Post 29 Hosts Connecting Cobb Veterans Quarterly Meeting

On Tuesday, March 12th, the American Legion Post 29 hosted the Connecting Cobb Veterans’ first quarterly meeting of 2024.  There was a record number of attendees for the panel discussion and the update from Tunnel to Towers. The panelists answered questions about how their organization handled Veterans in mental health crisis.  After a brief question and answer time from the panelists, Lynda Cox gave an update on the building of a Veteran Village in south Cobb.   Lynda is the Associate VP, of Development & Government Affairs for Tunnel to Towers.

• Raquel Ubarri & Antonella Cirino - VA Medical Center Front Door Clinic 

• Major James Bullock - Precinct 3 Commander, Cobb County Police Department 

Steve Schmid - Senior Director of Intensive Community and Veteran Services, Highland Rivers Behavioral Health.
