What units are active at your Post?

We have one of the largest American Legion units in Georgia. We also have active units of Sons of American Legion (SAL), American Legion Auxiliary, and American Legion Riders (ALR).

We are located at 921 Gresham Ave NE in Marietta, GA 30060.

I'm a veteran in need; can you help?

We are veterans serving veterans. We have a trained Service Officer on call. If you live in the Marietta area, get in touch so we can assist you directly or connect you with the right resource. Call the main number and ask for the Service Officer. You may email them at service@post29marietta.org.

How can I support Post 29?

Follow us on social media (Twitter and Facebook) and subscribe to our newsletter so that we can keep you up to date on our events. We have an annual 5k Race and a charity golf tournament. Participation in those events aids the Post and the community, and all proceeds go to serve veterans. You can also donate directly by clicking the Donate button on our website.

 

Are you open to the public?

We are a registered non-profit serving the public good, so many of our events are public events. Our monthly meetings are open to the public, so join us First Thursday of every month: 6:00 PM dinner, 7:00 PM meeting. Most other activities and locations are only for members and their guests, as required by law.
