Earl M. Carlin, USN 12 Sep 1924 - 18 Aug 2023

We regret to report the passing of Earl M. Carlin. Mr. Carlin was a member of Post 29. He served in the Pacific Theater of Operations during WW2 as part of the Landing Craft Infantry and Black Cat Flotilla (famed Higgins boats). He was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star, the Philippine Liberation Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, and the WW2 Victory Medal.

Funeral Services will be on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at 11:30 am, at Marietta Funeral Home in Marietta GA. With the interment being at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. at 2:00pm. The family will have a visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday August 29, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 pm.
